Positions currently available:

Electronic Calibration and Repair Technician (West Roxbury, MA)

Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience Full time with benefits

Responsibilities will include calibration, adjustment and troubleshooting a variety of electronic instruments and test equipment, such as:
Computer controlled resistance, inductance and capacitance decades
Resistance, Capacitance and Inductance Standards
Megohmmeters
Milliohmmeters
LCR Meters

Requirements:
1. MUST have electronic calibration experience preferably with an ISO-17025 accredited calibration lab or similar experience such as PMEL, and TMDE.
2. Testing and troubleshooting experience down to component level utilizing schematics, handheld multimeters and other bench instruments.
3. Experience with test instruments including; handheld multimeters, Fluke 8508A 8.5 Digit Reference Multimeters, oscilloscopes, resistance, inductance and capacitance standards
4. PC skills including Microsoft Excel and Word
5. Ability to read and follow schematics, assembly procedures and calibration procedures
6. Excellent soldering and electronic assembly skills
7. Familiarity with GenRad and esi test instrumentation is a plus


Electrical Engineer (West Roxbury, MA)

We are looking for hands-on individuals who want to make an impact and enjoy working for a small company.

The engineer would be responsible for all aspects of engineering, from product design to sustaining engineering on a variety of test and measurement instruments and standards.
New product development and product line management
Management of engineering team
Design of analog/digital circuits and assemblies
Debugging PCB’s using test equipment (DVM, scopes, function generators)
Development of schematics and PCB layout using Diptrace
Creation of BOMs, mechanical drawings as necessary
Support in A2LA technical responsibilities such as calculation of measurement uncertainties, proficiency testing, quality control, and performance of internal audits

Sales support responsibilities:
Creation and updates of datasheets, manuals, and other sales collateral
Website updates for new products, posting sales collateral, and creation of technical content
Support for sales in estimates of work, COGS, and timeframes
Production technical support

Sustaining Engineering:
Resolution of manufacturing issues (alternate parts, design modifications, yield issues) Including both mechanical and electrical support
Development of test procedures and test methods as required to support the manufacturing of products
Support for assemblers and technicians with training and day to day issues
Interface with vendors on technical questions
Quality control including review of customer concerns and evaluation of warranty units
Support purchasing on technical questions with vendors
Calibration of various LCR meters and other products

Requirements:
1. Minimum BSEE
2. 4 years minimum experience in engineering
3. Background in analog design and PC board layout
4. Testing and debugging experience down to the component level
5. Experience with test instruments including; handheld multimeters, Fluke 8508A 8.5 Digit Reference Multimeters, oscilloscopes, resistance, inductance, and capacitance standards
6. 2 years of engineering management experience
